SlowTime app for iPhone and iPad

SlowTime gives you very fine fingertip control over playback of video clips. Pick a video from the camera roll or from an album synced from iTunes. When the video has been processed to optimize playback, the SlowTime player appears.

Playback is controlled by touching the video on the screen:-
• Drag left or right to go forward or backward in time, frame by frame.
• Flick left or right to play the video forwards or backwards, with sound.
• Tap to stop playback or show/hide the status bar, navigation bar, and toolbar.

On the toolbar:-
• Mail the uncompressed video or the current frame.
• Grab the current frame and save to the camera roll.
• Loop or Stop when playback reaches the end.

Suggested uses:-
• Find great stills in your videos and email them to your friends.
• Analyse movement in sporting strokes or dance steps.
• Enjoy watching and listening to your videos played slow or fast or backwards.
• Make a video of your friend on a rotating chair, then spin them round on playback.
• Mail videos without loss of quality from compression.

Note that this app requires permission to access Location Services. This is only required because reading a video on your iPhone gives the app access to location metadata which may be present in the video. It does not track your current location.

Note that SlowTime does not work on the iPod touch 2nd generation model. Please do not purchase SlowTime for this model.
